House on Mango Street writen by Sandra Cisneros is about a girl named Esperanza. The book shows how Esperanza is growing from an imature girl to a mature young adult. It's about how faces life and trying to find out who she really is.I thought the book was interesting to read.

Antigone is an Ancient Greek Tragedy about a girl who burys her brother outside of the city walls because the king thinks he was a traitor. The king sends Antigone to die in a cave after trying to fight for Creons rights and trying to get her sister, Ismene, to help her.
Into the Wild By Jon Krakauer
Into the Wild is the true story of Chris McCandless, who was found dead in Alaska in Septemeber 1992. He was a talented young man from a good family and he gave away all his savings to charity, and then abandoned his past life and the personal identity all knew him by to basically disappear from the lives of family and friends.He knew that his parents would want to stop him, so he arranged to have his mail held for at least a month before it was returned to them, so he could give himself some time to leave for unknown parts. McCandless seemed to have been very angry with his parents for a long time.As he traveld across the country, McCandless kept a record of his adventures in a journal that were written in the third person about his feelings and the things that happened.
Outcast United By Warren St. John
Outcast United is a story about a refugee soccer team who are coached by a Jordanian woman named Luma. In the 1990s, Clarkston, Georgia, was a typical Southern town until it became a refugee place. The boys on the team all have experienced being in a war and there only way to forget about what has happened in the past is by soccer. The team has some rough times through out their season. At first they were racist to one another but they soon became like a family. They were refused by the mayor to use the towns park and they had to practice out side of Clarkston.
